The Story Behind the MYSTARY GAMES App Name and Logo Design

At Kinetic Branding, we love creating designs that tell a story, and the logo for the MYSTARY GAMES app is no exception. Not only did we design the logo, but we also had the creative opportunity to name the augmented reality smartphone app, ensuring it perfectly embodies its mysterious and immersive gaming experience.

The app's name is derived from the word "MYSTERY," reflecting the game's clue-driven and mystifying nature. The letter "E" is replaced with "A" next to the "R" to highlight the app's focus on AR (Augmented Reality) gaming. While the smartphone app name is intentionally misspelled, it still sounds like "Mystery Games."

The logo uses a bold, stencil-like customized font that brings a strong, modern look. The stencil font adds an extra layer of intrigue, making the design feel like a puzzle—just like the gameplay itself. The brackets around the [AR] are a deliberate choice, adding an element of mystery while highlighting the app's augmented reality features. The black text grounds the design in sophistication, while the purple color of the [AR] brings a sense of the unknown—just enough to spark curiosity and excitement.

This logo perfectly reflects the app's purpose, creating an experience that invites users to explore the mysterious world of augmented reality. It's a design that’s as striking as it is intriguing, just like the app itself.
