Kinetic Branding recently designed a logo that is meant to fly high, on an airplane in fact. The LX7 aircraft, designed and built by RDD Enterprises, is a conversion aircraft that can go farther and faster than planes in it's class. Not only can the plane fly cross country on one tank, it's also a more roomy and comfortable luxury ride. The LX7 logo design is very nearly an "ambigram," which is a logo that can be rotated 180 degrees, yet will still read the same. In this case, the "L" will turn into a "7" when rotated, and the "X" will obviously remain the same. However, Kinetic Branding purposely chose to modify the 'X' in the logo so that the intersection is slightly higher, in order to make the logo appear more modern and more familiar for people to read. Therefore, the logo is not a pure ambigram. But who rotates a logo 180 degrees anyway?
