Cattle branding goes way back to 2700 BC, when the ancient Egyptians marked their livestock for identification. The American West in the 1800s adopted branding their cattle as a means of identification, but it also implied a certain standard and quality of product. Today, the term "branding" has another meaning altogether, yet the practice still implies specific standards and qualities of products and services.
Kinetic recently finished a branding project for Mountain View Cattle Company, a family-owned and operated Angus cow and calf ranch located in Eastern Oregon. Kinetic enjoyed the opportunity of creating a modern brand identity for a company in an age-old and time-honored industry. The overall design takes from the style Old West branding marks while modernizing and customizing a distinct logo for Mountain View Cattle Co. See Our Logo Design Portfolio > Comments are closed.
